This project is an intangible cultural heritage course design for Dali Tie-Dye based on the C-STEAM concept. It aims to transform tie-dye from a 'passively viewed heritage' into an interdisciplinary learning project, integrating cultural inheritance with science, engineering, mathematics, and arts. In real-world task scenarios, students not only learn traditional tie-dye techniques but also participate in upcycling old clothes and building miniature water purification systems. By exploring the feasibility of slow fashion and environmental sustainability through hands-on practice, the course guides students to become communicators of intangible cultural heritage equipped with innovative design thinking.
