以媒介考古学为视角，聚焦上海无声电影承载的城市记忆，还原1930年代上海电影中的经典场景与人物，并通过沉浸式交互体验，让观众走进历史空间，感受老上海风貌，用数字技术活化濒危影像遗产，讨论城市记忆的传承与活化，让城市记忆可触摸、可体验、可传承。
From the perspective of media archaeology, this project The Past Shanghai City focuses on the urban memory carried by Shanghai silent films. It reconstructs classic scenes and characters from 1930s Shanghai cinema and enables audiences to immerse themselves in historical spaces through interactive VR experience. By digitally revitalizing endangered cinematic heritage, it explores the inheritance and activation of urban memory, making it tangible, experienceable and sustainable.
