The Chu silk manuscript is the earliest silk manuscript with both pictures and texts unearthed in China so far, dating back to the Warring States Period. This work takes the twelve mysterious, strange and stylistically diverse images of the lunar gods depicted on the Chu silk manuscript as the prototype. Arranged in the order of the four seasons, by refining their modeling elements and symbolic features, the images of the twelve lunar gods are reconstructed into four composite patterns. It incorporates the natural concepts of the Chu region during the Pre-Qin period. In terms of color selection, it follows the color concept of the Chu silk manuscript, showcasing the natural worship and primitive expressions of the Chu region that the Chu silk manuscript carries.
