There exists a primal chaos, born before Heaven and Earth—silent, boundless, standing alone yet unchanging, cycling ceaselessly without end.
Ink is fire in water; words are blades without form.
The ancients enshrined wisdom through the Dao, molded existence with the Yi, dividing yin and yang, arraying the Eight Trigrams, unraveling all phenomena. Through speech, they preserved the divine; through writing, they communed with heaven.
Yet those dwelling now in Jiangnan’s lakes and mountains remain blind to the poetic souls veiled in porcelain shards, or the floating glyphs atop pagodas that summon all things to unity.
